How to use

A workman working with his tools

findjob.ng na for two things only: find work near you, or find workman near you. No login, no password, no email. Everything na free. This page explain every button wey dey the home page.

The four main buttons

1. Find a Job (green button)

For anybody wey dey look for work.

  1. Press the big green 'Find a Job' button on the home page.
  2. The jobs wey dey closest to you go show first.
  3. Type inside the search box (e.g. 'sales girl') or press one of the round pills to filter.
  4. Press any job card to open it and see full details, pay and the place.
  5. Press 'Call Now' to call the employer, or press the green message icon to chat on WhatsApp.
  6. You fit also press 'Apply' — type your name, your phone, snap your picture, add voice note, and send. The employer go see am for their end.

2. Find a Workman

Plumber, electrician, tailor, mechanic and more.

  1. Press 'Find a Workman' on the home page.
  2. Search the work you need or press a pill like 'Plumber'.
  3. Workmen close to you go show with their picture, years of experience and area.
  4. Press the card to see the person full profile and business name.
  5. Press 'Call Now' to call am, or the message icon to send WhatsApp.
  6. Always meet face to face before you pay any money.

3. Post a Job

For shop owners, businesses and anybody wey need worker.

  1. Press 'Post a Job' on the home page.
  2. Type the work you need done, the pay, and where the place dey.
  3. Type the phone number people go call. Use the correct number.
  4. Snap or upload picture of your workplace or business — e dey compulsory, e make people trust you.
  5. Press Post. Your job go show for people near you same day.
  6. After you post, copy your secret code and keep am. Na the code you go use edit or delete the job later.

4. List your Handwork

For workmen and artisans wey want people to call them.

  1. Press 'List your Handwork' on the home page.
  2. Choose your work (plumber, tailor, welder...) or type am inside search.
  3. Add your name, your phone number and the area you dey work.
  4. Years of experience dey compulsory, and your personal picture (selfie) too.
  5. Company or business name na optional — add am if you get one.
  6. Press Save. Keep the secret code wey dey show, so you fit edit your listing later.

Other things for the home page

Saved

Your own small notebook.

  1. Press the heart on any job or workman card to save am.
  2. Press 'Saved' on the home page to see everything you keep.
  3. Saved list dey inside your phone only. Nobody else fit see am.

My Code

How you take manage wetin you post.

  1. Press 'My Code' on the home page.
  2. Type the secret code you get when you post the job or your handwork.
  3. You go fit edit everything — picture, phone, pay, description — or delete the listing.
  4. For job posters: you go see the people wey apply, their picture, voice note and phone number.
  5. If you lose the code, you go need post again. So write am down.

Your place (location)

Wetin dey make the site show jobs near you.

  1. The green box on top of the job and workman page na your location.
  2. First time, we go ask permission to use your location. Press Allow.
  3. If you no wan allow, press the box and type your town by hand.
  4. Press 2km, 5km, 10km or any distance to make the search wide or small.

Small tools you go see everywhere

Search box

Start to type, and suggestions go drop. Press one and the list go filter sharp sharp.

Voice note

If you no fit write plenty, press the mic and talk. Press stop when you finish. You fit play am before you send.

Picture

You fit snap with your camera or pick picture wey already dey your phone. Personal picture dey open selfie camera.

Call Now

One press and your phone go dial the person. Nothing dey hide.

WhatsApp / SMS

If call no go through, send message. Your application still dey save for the employer side.

Report

If any listing be fake or bad, press Report on the listing. We go check am.

Add to home screen

Open your browser menu and press 'Add to Home screen'. findjob.ng go work like app for your phone.

Safety and privacy, plain talk

  • No login, no password, no OTP. Nothing.
  • We only keep the phone number you type, so people fit call you.
  • Your saved list stay inside this phone only.
  • Meet the person face to face before you agree anything.
  • Never send money before you see the person and the work.
